Unit Weight is also known as Specific weight. Unit weight is the weight of the material per unit volume. That’s Means, how much weight of the material can be used. How to convert from Kg/m3 to KN/m3


As,

1Kg/m3 = 1Kgf/m3 

where (Kgf/m3 = Kilogram-force per cubic meter)

 

We Know that,

1000 Kgf/m3 = 9.80665 KN/m3 (free fall gravity)

So, 1Kgf/m3 = 9.80665/1000 KN/m3

                     = 0.00980665 KN/m3

                     ≈ 0.01 KN/m3

 

Finally, we get

1Kgf/m3 = 1Kg/m3 ≈ 0.01 KN/m3
